Grouching and odd questions
I finally finished my history essays today (11 and a half pages and about 5 hours work) and I was wondering what do you guys study as 'history' (and by you guys I mean those who don't live in the UK) because all of our 'study-worthy' history is based on the monarchy when we start high school and then it's all about the World Wars and Nazis but what do you guys do?And I have a bed now - it's only been 2 months that I've been camped out on a matress on the floor.Oh yes, and I'll be around alot this weekend - I'll be using my new bed to hide behind as I have both sets of grandparents visiting....

Hmm, we just finished learning about the American and French Revolutions, and I found it pretty interesting. Right now, we're learning about the Industrial Revolution... X] Many many revolutions.
Yeah we study the World Wars: Nazis and stuff.. and how Finland won independence
In the U.S., we study basically from the Revolutionary War up. In A.P. history, we go all the way back to Columbus, fast-forward until about 1650, and then go up until present day. We study major world events, but it mostly focuses on the U.S.
